Key Responsibilities

• Oversee financial strategy, budgeting, and accounting policies.

• Manage corporate accounts and financial reporting.

• Serve as Board member reporting to the Managing Director.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Age Limit

• Minimum: 40 years

• Maximum:

  • Internal Candidates: 2 years residual service before superannuation (60 years)

  • Others: 57 years

2. Employment Status

Applicants must be in a regular/contractual (3+ years) role in:

• CPSEs/Major Ports/SPVs

• Central/State Government (including Armed Forces)

• Private sector companies (₹250+ crore annual turnover)

3. Educational Qualification

• Essential:

  • Chartered Accountant/Cost Accountant OR

  • Full-time MBA/PGDM (Finance) from recognized institution

• Exemptions:

  • Group ‘A’ Accounts Services officers

  • Central Govt/Armed Forces officers with 7+ years of relevant experience

4. Experience

• 10+ years total, including 5+ years at senior level in Corporate Financial Management.

• Private Sector: 2+ years in Board-level/equivalent position.
