Essential Qualifications:

1. Educational: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
2. Experience:
   • 5 years of regular service in Level-6 (or analogous post) in Central/State/UT governments.
   • 3 years of experience in enforcement of regulatory laws (e.g., NDPS Act, criminal/economic offenses).

• Desirable: 1 year of experience in criminal/economic offense investigations.

Job Responsibilities

• Enforcement of NDPS Act, intelligence collection, raids, seizures, arrests.
• Court trials, destruction of illicit drug crops, inter-agency coordination.
• Training and demand reduction activities.

Deputation Terms

• Duration: Up to 3 years (extendable to 7 years based on performance).
• Eligibility: Officers from Central/State/UT governments, PSUs, or autonomous bodies.
