Essential Qualifications:

• Research Scientist (RF & Microwaves): B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electronics/Telecommunications with minimum 55% marks. Desirable: 1-2 years of experience in RF and Microwave.
• Research Scientist (Physics): M.Sc. Physics or B.Tech (Engineering Physics) from IIT/NIT/recognized universities with 55% marks.
• Project Assistant (Physics): B.Sc. (Physics) with 55% marks.
• Project Technicians: ITI in relevant trade (Fitter/Turner/Machinist) with NCTVT and 55% marks.

Job Descriptions:

• Research Scientists: Design and simulation of vacuum tubes (e.g., Magnetron, Klystron), electron gun design, brazing operations, vacuum processing, etc.
• Project Assistant: Assembly, brazing, chemical cleaning, vacuum furnace operations.
• Project Technicians: Mechanical fitting, turning, machining, maintenance of lathe/milling machines.

Age Limit:

• Research Scientist: 30 years
• Project Assistant/Technician (A): 25 years
• Project Technician (B): 35 years

Salary:

• Research Scientist: ₹32,000/month
• Project Assistant: ₹19,000/month
• Project Technician (A): ₹17,100/month
• Project Technician (B): ₹21,100/month (for candidates with 3+ years of experience)

Contract Duration:

• 2 years or project duration, whichever is less.

Selection Process:

• Written/screening test followed by an interview for shortlisted candidates.
• Skill test for Project Assistant and Technician posts.
