About the Organization:
The National Water Development Agency (NWDA), under the Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India, is responsible for the planning, development, and management of water resources across the nation. It plays a pivotal role in interlinking river projects to ensure sustainable water distribution and utilization.

Job Title: Additional Chief Executive Officer (Elect & Mech)

Location: Ken Betwa Link Project Authority (KBLPA), Bhopal

Employment Type: Deputation (including Short-Term Contract)
Pay Level: Level-14 (₹144,200–218,200)

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning, design, execution, and maintenance of water resources development projects, with a focus on electrical and mechanical components.
• Lead senior management activities for the Ken Betwa Link Project, ensuring efficient project implementation.
• Collaborate with central/state governments, PSUs, and autonomous bodies to achieve project goals.
• Ensure compliance with technical and operational standards in water resource management.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Essential:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
  • 15+ years of professional experience in water resources projects, including at least 3 years in Senior Management (Level-13 or equivalent).
• Desirable:
  • Master’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
• Age Limit: ≤58 years (as on the closing date).

Terms & Conditions:

• Deputation period: Maximum 5 years (including prior ex-cadre posts).
• Selected candidates cannot withdraw their application post-selection.
• Pay and benefits as per DoPT OM No.6/08/2009-Estt (Pay-II).
