Job Details:

BEL is inviting applications for the post of Deputy Engineer in the following disciplines:

1. Deputy Engineer (Electronics)
2. Deputy Engineer (Mechanical)

Number of Vacancies:

• Deputy Engineer (Electronics): 08
• Deputy Engineer (Mechanical): 12

Pay Scale: ₹40,000 – 3% – ₹1,40,000
Annual CTC: Approximately ₹11.67 Lakhs

Age Limit (as of 01.02.2025):

• General/EWS: 28 years
• OBC: 31 years
• SC/ST: 33 years
• PwBD: Additional 10 years relaxation

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Educational Qualifications:

• Deputy Engineer (Electronics):
  • Degree: B.E / B.Tech / AMIE / GIETE / B.Sc Engineering (4-year course) in Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Telecommunications / Communication / Telecommunication.
  • Marks:
    • General/OBC/EWS: First Class
    • SC/ST/PwBD: Pass Class
• Deputy Engineer (Mechanical):
  • Degree: B.E / B.Tech / AMIE / GIETE / B.Sc Engineering (4-year course) in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Marks:
    • General/OBC/EWS: First Class
    • SC/ST/PwBD: Pass Class

2. Experience:

• Post-Qualification Experience: Not required (Freshers can apply).

Selection Process:

The selection process will consist of the following stages:

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT):
   • Total Marks: 85
   • Part I: General Awareness (15 marks)
   • Part II: Technical/Trade Aptitude (70 marks)
   • Minimum Qualifying Marks:
     • General/OBC/EWS: 35%
     • SC/ST/PwBD: 30%
2. Personal Interview:
   • Marks: 15
   • Candidates who qualify in the CBT will be shortlisted for the interview in a ratio of 1:5.
