Key Vacancies & Disciplines:

1. Naval Architecture / Marine / Civil Engineering

   • Scientist ‘F’ (Level 13A): 01 vacancy (13+ years’ experience).

   • Scientist ‘E’ (Level 13): 04 vacancies (10+ years’ experience).

   • Essential: First-class BE/B.Tech in Naval/Marine/Civil Engineering.

   • Desirable: PG/Doctorate in Ocean Engineering, Material Science, or relevant field.

2. Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Communication

   • Scientist ‘E’ (Level 13): 01 vacancy (10+ years’ experience).

   • Essential: First-class BE/B.Tech in ECE/EEE/Instrumentation.

   • Experience: Power systems, avionics, or UAV communication.

3. Metallurgical / Material Science Engineering

   • Scientist ‘E’ (Level 13): 01 vacancy (10+ years’ experience).

   • Focus: Aerospace materials, additive manufacturing, alloy characterization.

4. Chemical Engineering

   • Focus: Explosives, polymers, or nano-materials R&D.

5. Mechanical / Aerospace / Aeronautical Engineering

6. Electronics & Communication Engineering

Eligibility Criteria:

• Age Limit (as on 09 May 2025):

  • Scientist ‘F’/‘E’: Max 50 years.

  • Scientist ‘C’: Max 40 years.

  • Relaxations: 10 years for PwD, 5 years for central govt. employees.

• Education: First-class BE/B.Tech or equivalent in relevant discipline. Higher qualifications (PG/PhD) fetch experience weightage.

• Experience: Post-qualification R&D/production experience in defence/related sectors.

Selection Process:

1. Online Application: Submit via RAC Portal by 09 May 2025.

2. Screening: Administrative (eligibility) + Technical (experience relevance).

3. Interview: Final selection based on performance in personal interview (min 75% marks required).

Stipend & Benefits:

• Pay Scale (7th CPC):

  • Scientist ‘F’: ₹1,31,100 (Level 13A).

  • Scientist ‘E’: ₹1,23,100 (Level 13).

  • Scientist ‘D’: ₹78,800 (Level 12).

  • Scientist ‘C’: ₹67,700 (Level 11).
