Job Description
MoEF&CC invites applications for Judicial and Expert Members to adjudicate high-stakes environmental cases. Selected candidates will contribute to policy enforcement and sustainable development.
Position Details:
- Judicial Member (02 Posts)
- Eligibility:
- Judge of a High Court OR
- 10+ years as District/Additional District Judge OR
- 10+ years as an Advocate (environment/forest litigation experience in NGT/SC/HC).
- Salary: ₹2,25,000/month + Group ‘A’ allowances.
- Expert Member (02 Posts)
- Eligibility:
- PG/Doctorate in Science + 25 years’ experience (including 5 years in environment/forest fields) OR
- 20 years’ administrative experience (5 years in environmental matters).
- Salary: ₹2,25,000/month + Group ‘A’ allowances.
General Requirements:
- Age: Minimum 50 years.
- Term: 4 years or until age 67 (whichever earlier).
