About the Role:

The Andaman & Nicobar State AYUSH Society is re-advertising the position of State Programme Manager on a purely contractual basis for a period of 11 months. The role involves managing public health programmes and contributing to the implementation of social sector schemes at the national, state, or district level.

Eligibility Criteria:

Essential Qualifications:

• Graduation degree in any discipline, including AYUSH.
• AND MBA in Healthcare Management/Human Resource (HR) OR Masters in Health/Hospital Administration OR Post Graduation Diploma in Hospital & Healthcare Management (2 years) from an AICTE-recognized institute.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in public health programmes in Government/PSU or reputed private sector organizations.
• Exposure to social sector schemes or government missions at the national, state, or district level.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Computer knowledge, including MS Office, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel.
• Experience in the health sector, including AYUSH.

Age Limit:

• Not above 45 years (relaxable as per norms of the Andaman & Nicobar Administration).

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and implementing public health programmes.
• Coordinating with government and private sector organizations for health-related initiatives.
• Contributing to the execution of social sector schemes and government missions.
• Ensuring effective delivery of healthcare services, particularly in remote and hard-to-reach areas.
• Preparing reports, monitoring progress, and evaluating the impact of health programmes.

Selection Process:

• Candidates will be shortlisted based on their qualifications and experience.

• The appointment is purely on a contract basis for 11 months and does not guarantee regular employment.
