Job Description

HPPSC invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor (Urology) on a regular basis. The role involves teaching, research, and clinical responsibilities in the Super-Speciality department at AIMSS, Chamiyana.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver lectures and practical training in Urology to postgraduate medical students.
• Conduct research and publish papers in indexed journals.
• Participate in departmental academic and administrative activities.
• Mentor students and contribute to curriculum development.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Essential Qualifications:
  • Recognized medical qualification (MBBS + M.S. Surgery) with M.Ch. Urology (2/3 years course) or 5-year direct M.Ch. Urology.
  • Minimum 3 years of teaching experience (Lecturer/Registrar/Demonstrator/Resident) post-PG in a recognized medical college.
• Age Limit: Up to 45 years (relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates of HP).

Selection Process:

1. Screening Test (CBT):
   • Paper-I: General Knowledge, Hindi, English (100 marks).
   • Paper-II: Descriptive Subject Aptitude Test (120 marks).
2. Personality Test (30 marks) for shortlisted candidates.

• General/EWS/OBC (HP & Other States): ₹600
• SC/ST/EWS-BPL (HP): ₹150
• Female/PwD/Ex-Servicemen (HP): Exempted
