Position Details

• Post: Junior Resident (Medical)
• Departments: Pediatrics, Anesthesia, Medicine
• Total Vacancies: 4 (SC-1, ST-1, OBC-1, EWS-1)
• Tenure: 6 months (extendable up to 1 year)
• Salary: Pay Matrix Level-10 + allowances as per Govt. norms

Eligibility Criteria

• Maximum Age Limit for UR & EWS: Not exceeding 40 years as on date of interview
• Maximum Age Limit for OBC: Not exceeding 43 years as on date of interview
• Maximum Age Limit for SC, ST: Not exceeding 45 years as on date of interview
• Age relaxation is admissible as per rules

Qualification

• MBBS from MCI/NMC-recognized university + 1-year rotatory internship (completed within last 2 years)Monthly Remuneration

Registration

• Valid Delhi Medical Council (DMC) registration mandatory

Experience

• Internship completion certificate required; prior JR service in Govt. hospitals must be declared.

• Application Fee:
  • General/OBC/EWS: ₹1000 | SC/ST/PwBD: ₹500 (Bank Draft in favor of “Commissioner, MCD”)
• Documents to Bring:

  2. Original + photocopies of:
     • MBBS degree, internship certificate, DMC registration
     • Age proof (Class X certificate), caste/EWS certificate (if applicable)
     • Aadhaar card, NOC (if employed), and demand draft

Key Terms & Conditions

• Service: Governed by Residency Scheme; no claim for permanent absorption.
• Work Restrictions: Private practice prohibited; inter-hospital transfers not allowed.
• Termination: Services may be terminated without notice for misconduct.
• Reservation: As per Govt. of India rules; OBC certificates must be FY 2024-25.
