Western Railway, one of India’s premier railway zones under the Ministry of Railways, operates an extensive network across Maharashtra, Gujarat, and parts of Madhya Pradesh. The Mumbai Division’s Health Unit provides critical medical services to railway employees and passengers, ensuring health safety across stations and trains.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Provide general medical services at designated health units

• Attend emergency calls at stations/trains

• Issue medical certificates (up to 7 days)

• Participate in casualty, ICU, and OT duties

Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

• MBBS (MCI-recognized) + MCI/MMC registration

2. Age Limit

• First-time applicants: Max 53 years

• Retired Govt. doctors: Max 67 years

3. Experience

• Retired doctors: Pension + remuneration must not exceed last drawn pay

Selection Process

1. Walk-in Interview:

   • Date: 08 May 2025

   • Time: 10:30 AM

   • Venue: CMS Office, DRM Building, Mumbai Central

2. Document Verification:

   • Original + photocopies of MBBS degree, internship certificate, MCI registration, and caste certificate (if applicable)
