Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) is a 50:50 Joint Venture of the Government of India and Government of Kerala, established to implement and operate the Kochi Metro Rail Project. With Phase II construction underway (JLN Stadium to Info Park, 11 km), KMRL is a hub of innovation in urban transit infrastructure.

KMRL is Recruiting for Assistant Manager (Architect)

Position: Assistant Manager (Architect) (E2 Grade)
Vacancy: 1 (Contractual, extendable based on performance)
Location: Kochi, Kerala

Key Responsibilities

• Design and plan metro stations, transit hubs, and large buildings (min. 2 lakh sq. ft.) using CAD/BIM tools (Revit, SketchUp, 3Ds Max).

• Prepare 3D models, rendered views, and walkthroughs for project visualization.

• Ensure compliance with NFPA, NBC, KMBR, and green building standards.

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and contractors for design optimization.

• Review architectural drawings, BoQs, and estimates, resolving site-specific design issues.

• Integrate sustainability practices and maximize commercial spaces for revenue generation.

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Full-time B.Arch from an AICTE-recognized institution.

• Experience: 5+ years in architectural design for metro/railway stations/airports/large buildings.

• Age Limit: 35 years (relaxation for KMRL contract employees/Govt. candidates as per rules).

• Skills: Proficiency in Revit, Lumion, Photoshop, and BIM software.

Selection Process

• Interview and/or written/online test (shortlisting based on KMRL’s discretion).

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Scale: ₹50,000–1,60,000 (IDA).

• Contract Duration: 3 years (extendable).
