About the Organization:

The Indian Institute of Petroleum & Energy (IIPE), Visakhapatnam, is an Institution of National Importance established by the Parliament of India under the IIPE Act, 2017. The institute is inviting applications from eligible Indian nationals for Group-A Non-Teaching Positions on a regular basis through direct recruitment.

Vacancy Details:

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Superintending Engineer (Pay Level-13):

• Essential Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Electrical/Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute with at least 55% marks in the qualifying degree AND at least 5 years of relevant experience at Pay Level-12 in CPWD/PWD or similar organizations.
  • OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Civil Engineering with at least 55% marks AND at least 7 years of relevant experience at Pay Level-12 in CPWD/PWD or similar organizations.
• Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience in handling construction and management-related software (e.g., CAD).
  • Proven track record of handling large-scale projects in reputed organizations.
  • Experience in electrical maintenance, civil engineering, and construction management.

2. Assistant Registrar (Pay Level-10):

• Essential Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
  • At least 5 years of relevant administrative experience in a supervisory capacity in Pay Level-7 or equivalent in government offices, universities, or reputed organizations.
• Desirable Qualifications:
  • Degree in Law/Management/Engineering/CA/CS/ICWA.
  • Experience in educational administration, financial management, and personnel management.
  • Proficiency in computer applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Ex-Servicemen: Age relaxation as per Government of India norms.
• Regular Employees of CFTI/Institutes of National Importance: Up to 50 years of age (for posts with upper age limits below 50 years).
• Contractual/Outsourcing Employees of IIPE: Maximum age limit of 50 years.

• SC/ST/PwD/Female Candidates: Exempted from application fee (proof required).

Selection Process:

For Superintending Engineer:

1. Stage-I: Trade Test (100 Marks).
2. Stage-II: Written Test (80 Marks) + Computer Proficiency Test (20 Marks).
3. Stage-III: Presentation & Interview.
   • Final Selection: Based on Presentation & Interview only.

For Assistant Registrar:

1. Stage-I: Written Test (80 Marks) + Computer Proficiency Test (20 Marks).
2. Stage-II: Presentation & Interview.
   • Final Selection: Based on Presentation & Interview only.

Important Notes:

• No TA/DA: No travel or accommodation allowance will be provided for attending the selection process.

• Probation Period: 1 year (extendable up to 2 years).
• Medical Fitness: Appointment is subject to medical fitness as per IIPE norms.
