Job Details:

IIT Guwahati is inviting applications for the post of Deputy Registrar on a deputation basis. This is a key administrative role responsible for managing various academic and administrative functions at the institute.

Number of Vacancies: 01
Pay Matrix Level: Level 12 (as per 7th CPC)
Age Limit: Up to 45 years (No upper age limit for regular employees of IIT Guwahati).

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Educational Qualifications:

• Postgraduate Degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale.

2. Experience:

• Option 1: 9 years of experience as an Assistant Professor in the AGP of ₹6000 and above with experience in educational administration or comparable experience in research establishments and/or other institutions of higher education.
• Option 2: 5 years of administrative experience as an Assistant Registrar or in an equivalent post carrying a scale of pay of Level 10.

Preference: Candidates from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) with sufficient administrative experience at Pay Level-10 or above will be preferred.
