The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Tirupati is a premier engineering institute in India, known for its academic excellence and research contributions. The Centre for Sponsored Research and Consultancy (CSRC) at IIT Tirupati is inviting applications for two Research Assistant positions in a sponsored research project in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences.

Project Details:

• Project Title: Understanding the Socio-Economic Determinants and Inequalities of Access to Water in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana

Position Details:

Nature of Work:

1. Conduct a literature review on water access issues in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
2. Analyze primary data collected through field surveys.
3. Identify socio-economic inequalities in water access across different communities, regions, and socio-economic groups.
4. Prepare comprehensive reports based on survey findings.
5. Support the Principal Investigator in data analysis and report writing.

Desired Experience:

• Prior experience in handling field-based data, especially through surveys or research projects in economics.
• Strong skills in data analysis and synthesis for report writing.
• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
